This book is the bizarre story of Craig Smith’s transformation from a 1960s dapper all-American pop songwriter to Maitreya Kali, a self-proclaimed psychedelic Messiah. Smith’s songs were recorded by some of the biggest names in entertainment –Andy Williams, Glen Campbell, the Monkees. His future success appeared to be certain, just as an unexpected turn of events dragged him into the abyss.
