To read the self important ramblings of Ian Brady as he sizes up other serial killers, all in the effort to prop himself up as a self proclaimed “expert”, is (at best) disgusting. To take on this project was no small decision. Ultimately we went ahead. As disturbing as this book is, it gives the reader a heads-on analysis of how a psychopath thinks, serving as an example of what to look out for and what never to be. This book doesn’t glorify a murderer, quite the contrary; it exposes one for who he is.
